Dear Friends,
Welcome to the 2007-2008 season for Northwest Repertory Singers. This season brings a beautiful December program featuring music expressing thoughts of peace on earth, a collaboration with Northwest Sinfonietta and conductor Christophe Chagnard for two performances of Beethoven’s great Symphony #9, and a collaboration with the marvelous Tacoma Youth Chorus. The excitement of youth and adults standing side by side, sharing music that is challenging and motivating is very special indeed. NWRS will also be featured guest artists at the Leavenworth Choral Festival in April and the women of NWRS will join the Lake Union Civic Orchestra in June for a performance of Gustav Holst’s Planets.
We hope you will join us this season to share the music that means so much to each of us. Our passion for singing and our dedication to the choral art will hopefully result in a rewarding musical experience for our audience.
